Walker County Criminal Justice Community Planning Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to develop a Strategic Plan which identifies service gaps within the criminal justice system in Walker County.  Government agencies or non-profits can then apply to the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office for funds that can be used to close these gaps.

• Victim's Assistance Agencies
• Juvenile Probation and Organizations

What is the benefit to Walker County?
All applications made to the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office must tie in with a current Walker County Community Plan.  Greater involvement by our citizens will translate to a more up to date Plan, which will strengthen all our applications requesting grants to close identified gaps.
