Spring and summer is a time for gardening and enjoying the outdoors, but it also is a time that we see more snakes and snake bites. Nationally over 7000 people are bitten by venomous snake bites, including the rattlesnake, copperhead, cottonmouth, and coral snake. The panel of experts will discuss how quickly snakes can strike, how to avoid being bitten, myths and misconceptions on what to do if you are bitten and first aid techniques. Bring a friend and plan to attend this informative session.
