A comedy, The Sunshine Boys focuses on aging Al Lewis and Willie Clark, a former vaudevillian team known as "Lewis and Clark". Over the years, the two men had grown to hate each other so much that they never spoke unless on stage. Lewis decides it's time to retire, but Clark resents him for "breaking up" the act. Humor ensues with the efforts to reunite the stubborn partners to work out their differences.
