Symphony Orchestra Concert

The SHSU Symphony Orchestra concert will feature the two first prize winners of the Inaugural SHSU Concerto Competition.  Undergraduate Brenden Johnston will perform the Concerto for Saxophone by Henri Tomasi, and graduate student Mihai Vatca will perform the finale movement of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2.  The evening's program will alos include Claude Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Slavonic March.
