Signatures of our Forefathers: Quill, Ink, and the Declaration of Independence

A signature is more than simply writing ones name.  It is the art of writing your name in a way that both shows your distinct identity and prevents forgery!  Come to Bear Bend Cabin at the Sam Houston Memorial Museum on Wednesday, July 3, from 9:00am to noon, to learn about famous autographs, including those on the Declaration of Independence, and to make your own mark using a quill pen.  For more information call 936-294-4895 or 936-294-3936.  $5.00 recommended donation per person.
