SHSU Opera Performance
Sam Houston State University Opera program presents Maurice Ravel's opera of fantasy and enchantment where animals and household objects come to life in The Child and the Enchantment. The one-act opera tells the story of a little boy whose naughty antics create a magic world in which he learns a valuable lesson about kindness and love. The production includes stage direction by Rebecca Renfro Grimes, music direction by Robert Hunt and choreography by Dana Nicolay.
