SHSU Guest Artist Recital - Jerome Lowenthal

Jerome Lowenthal, acclaimed American classical pianist and member of the piano faculty at New York's Juilliard School, visits SHSU for a guest recital presenting a preview of what he will perform this summer at the famous Berlin Philharmonic.  Among other pieces, he will play Beethoven's Sonata Op. 106 (known as the Hammerklavier Sonata), considered one of the most challenging works of piano literature.
