Tour the Woodland Home, a National Historic Landmark, the home where four of the Houston's eight children were born. Walk the entire Museum Complex that was once a small fraction of the original Houston acreage that spans the Avenues. We will have historic demonstrations on the grounds including: kick-wheel pottery making at the Raven’s Pottery Shed and Sam Houston’s restored “Bear Bend” hunting lodge cabin open to the public.
