Sponsored by the Huntsville Lions Club, this is a recommended ride for the BP MS 150 Bike Ride to Austin. Hundreds of bikers participate.
Your ride options include a short 20 mile round trip ride to Huntsville Visitors Center & Statue (shuttle provided back to start/finish for those that desire a shorter 10 mile ride). Riders may also elect to ride the 33 mile Possum Walk Loop throught the rolling wooded hills.
Riders that desire a longer ride can delve deeper into the Sam Houston national Forest past lake Stubblefield on either the 51 mile San Jacinto River Bottom Trail or the 61 mile Koon Trail route. (This is a road ride; all routes are on paved FM roads or state highways).
Brisket Lunch is free to all riders after the ride.
