Join Huntsville Memorial Hospital CEO Shannon Brown and Stroke Neurologist, Dr. Nhu Bruce, for the second annual "Neon for Neurons", a color fun run/walk. Neon for Neurons is a fun way to raise awareness of stroke during the month of May, which is National Stroke Awareness Month. The run will conclude a series of education programs for health care workers and community, including a walk-through inflatable brain exhibit on race day. At 8:30 p.m. a kick off Neon for Neurons, a night run where participants sport glow-in-the-dark gear like bracelets, necklaces body paint, glow sticks and more -- not to mention being "showered" with color along the raceway at the Color Pit Stops. Also planed is music, food, and lots of fun!
