As part of the Huntsville Moving Project, initiated by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wynne Home Arts Center in Huntsville will celebrate dance in a classic cinema as Sam Houston State University professor emeritus, Ralph Pease, hosts a series of classic films free to the public. Featuring iconic Hollywood dancers from Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly to Shirley Temple, the five week series will offer films on Thursday evenings for free at the Wynne Home. The series continues next week with Top Hat on April 7. Singin in the Rain will be shown on April 14, Steamboat Bill Jr. April 21 and the series concludes with City Lights on April 28.
