"Made in the USA" Opera Performance

SHSU Opera presents an evening of opera scenes by American composers, featuring the works of Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber and Jake Heggie.  There is also a special performance of the music of American Prize winning composer and SHSU professor Kyle Kindred in a unique collaboration with Former White House Deputy Press Secretary and Mass Communication professor Peter Roussel.  Sung in English;  some mature themes.
