M.A.S.H. - Make A Smile Happen

Local radio stations KSAM 101.7 and 104.9 The Hits will once again be spending two days in a camouflage tent in order to Make A Smile Happen (M.A.S.H.)  Stationed in front of Shenanigans the radio team, along with ATO fraternity and members of the National Guard will collect toys, gifts and food for the less fortunate in our community-all to "make smiles happen" during the holidays.  Every year they begin with a huge empty tent and by the end or the two days it is overflowing with generous donations.  No toy, gift or food item is too small or too large -just ask that all merchandise be new and not used.  All food will stock the Good Shepherd Mission and toys and teen gift items will be distributed among SAAFE House, Santa's Helpers of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, Huntsville YMCA and HISD Social Services.  All of these agencies pre-screen families who need help and the merchancise and food is immediately transferred to the agencies at the end of M.A.S.H. who distribute to the appropriate individuals.
