Cotton was king for a long time here in Texas. Come to the Sam Houston Memorial Museum on June 19th from 9:00am to noon to learn all about growing and processing cotton. We'll pick cotton bolls, clean them, card them, spin them, and weave them at this all-ages-welcome event.
