The Huntsville Area Newcomers Luncheon meeting on Thursday December 5, 2024, will feature the holiday season with Elkins Lake Chef Steve McKibben, sharing favorite recipes and also a demonstration by Cathy Bickford, designing holiday floral arrangements. The Club will also be selling raffle tickets to support our scholarship fund. Buy tickets to be the lucky winner of any of the following gifts and prizes. 1) a weekend getaway suite for two at Margaritaville Woodlands with a $100 gift certificate to spend there or 2) a landscape portrait by Nancy Leavell or 3) a private wine tasting at the Messina Hof Winery and 4) beautiful holiday fresh floral arrangements. The luncheon begins at 11:30 am, at the Elkins Lake Club House, located at 632 Cherry Hills Drive, Huntsville, Texas. The community is invited to attend, and reservations are required. The Newcomers Club also supports a Huntsville Independent School District (HISD) initiative, which helps students facing housing challenges and insecurities.
