Frontier Skills Demonstration for Kids and Adults

Pioneers required a wide array of tools and skills to help them survive in the frontier.  Come to Bear Bend Cabin on the Sam Houston Memorial Museum grounds to see, touch, and try of some of them.  We'll be practicing with tomahawks, shooting black powder guns, starting fires without matches and more on Wednesday, July 17th from 9:00am to noon.  For more information call 936-294-4895 or 936-294-3936.
