Have you been considering a trip to downtown? Enjoy a fun-filled adventure with the Downtown Scavenger Hunt 2018 while exploring locally-owned businesses. The event is planned and coordinated by the City of Huntsville’s Main Street Program.
The first clue of the challenge will be released at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, which participants can find on the Main Street Facebook page, @COHMainStreet, or pick up in advance at the office, located at 1203 University Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 22.
“Our hope is that residents will enjoy searching for clues in the businesses downtown and complete the quest to get a 10 percent off certificate at a participating location of their choice,” said Debra Charbonneau, Main Street Coordinator.
Clues will lead hunters from store to store. and a representative inside the establishment must sign off on the player’s game board.
“Players who successfully complete the Scavenger Hunt will be eligible for a drawing to win a $50 gift certificate,” Charbonneau said.
