Saturday...October 1st....Looking for a place to take the whole family for fun, food and adventure?  If so then we have the perfect solution…the 42nd Annual Fair on the Square!  Grab the kids and head to the historic downtown square right in the center of Huntsville, Texas.

Many unique items, some hand crafted, will help shoppers get ready for the Christmas and fall holidays.  Jewelry, home décor, apparel, and many more treasures can be found by both vendors and the merchants on the downtown square and in the Midway Plaza. 
  
The popular Kids Korner is a haven of fun for children of all ages!  The Kids Korner includes a giant slide, balloon artist, petting zoo, bungee run, monster mural, moon walk, face painting, archery station and free arts and crafts projects!

Need a break from shopping?? Then head to the Food Court to taste fair specialties. Homemade root beer floats, freshly squeezed lemonade and sweet tea will quench your thirst while you munch on fried pickles, kettle korn, corn dogs, barbecue and more!  
 
From 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. listen to the tunes of two local bands as they play on the stage in the Beer Garden.  Spend the afternoon enjoying an adult beverage or sipping a soft drink while listening to some great Texas Country Music! 
 
Come join us in the wine tasting Area called The Wine Knot. This new attraction was added to the festivities in 2015.   Join patrons as they sip wine from many Texas Vineyards at this quaint Wine Tasting area.  Tickets will be on sale September 1st at the chamber for only $20.  Check out the fair website (www.faironthesquare.com) to see what favorites will be there!
 
The Fair on the Square offers something for every age and gender!  Saturday, October 1, 2016 plan to spend the weekend with us in Huntsville, Texas!

Start the party early by joining us at the Pre-Fair on the Square Concert
on Friday, September 30th, 9-midnight.  Featuring Jerrett Zoch and the OSR Band!

Vendor Registration is SOLD OUT!  However you can fill out an application and send it in to be added to the waiting list.  We will contact you if there is a cancellation!

DIRECTIONS TO THE FAIR:
From Houston: Travel I45 North, take exit 116 (Hwy 30/11th Street),
turn right and travel east to the downtown square which is 2 miles from I45.

From Dallas:  Travel I45 South, take exit 116 (Hwy 30/11th Street),
turn left and travel east to the downtown square which is 2 miles from I45.

From Bryan/College Station:  Travel Hwy 30 to the downtown square, which is 2 miles from I45.

From Livingston, Travel Hwy 190 to the downtown square. 

FREE PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE is available on the Sam Houston State University Campus in the Bower Stadium Parking Lot Z2-14.  
DIRECTIONS:  From Sam Houston Avenue, turn on Bearkat Blvd and head east and follow to the stadium  Look for signs and tent, parking lot is on the scoreboard side.  The shuttle will run from 8:30 a.m to 6 p.m. SATURDAY ONLY.  Provided by The Forum and Encore of Sam Houston.
