SUMMARY:Walker County Republican Women's Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Reverend Doctor Scott Moore\, pastor of the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church\, will be the guest speaker at the May 19\, 2025\, Walker County Republican Women's meeting. Reverend Moore will lead a discussion of President John Adam's statement\, "our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Dr. Moore holds a Bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice from Lamar University\, a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Methodist University\, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University where he wrote his dissertation on the relationship between the leadership practices of elected political boards and the organizational commitment of people across multiple levels of the organization's structure. The community is invited to this public event which begins with networking at 11:00a.m.\, a brief business meeting at 11:30a.m.\, followed by the presentation at noon. The club is also collecting and accepting donations for the Care Center   Huntsville. WCRW Members and the public may bring donations of diapers\, wipes\, blankets\, burp cloths and socks to the meeting. The event will be held at the Katy and E.
