This is a centennial commemoration of the legacy of the founders\, caregivers and alumni of this rural school for black children: An oasis of education that nurtured and allowed so many tiny\, shiny minds to blossom. Donors\, volunteers\, sponsors\, historians\, schools and vendors welcomed!! Sponsorships start at $25. Vendor Booths: $50-$75 (More info:www.rosenwaldacres.com) Portions of the proceeds donated to the Samuel Walker Houston Museum & Cultural Center and to renovate the graves of Rosenwald School founders and caregivers buried in the 130 year old Kittrell-Wilson Cemetery behind the Rosenwald Acres.
