DESCRIPTION:This is a FREE How-To Workshop and Support Group to help caregivers for senior adults.  This workshop will help you know how to help your loved one out of a chair or stand up from a fall. \n\nWHO SHOULD COME:  Individuals who are taking care of a senior adult\, such as a parent\, older sibling\, neighbor or good friend\, either full or part-time.\n\nWHAT WILL YOU SEE:  Professionals in the field of senior care will provide training on how to safely lift\, move and assist in moving individuals who use a walker or wheel-chair.  You will see demonstrations o how to safely transfer from a chair to the car\, how to help an individual out of a chair or how to help an individual get dressed so that you avoid falls and injuries.\n\nWHAT YOU CAN DO:  Share your needs and concerns during group discussion led by the chaplain of Embracing Hospice.\n\nRSVP or for more information\, call 936-295-4488
