After a unanimous vote by the Huntsville Memorial Hospital Board of Directors\, Shannon Brown was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer\, assuming his duties beginning January 25\, 2013. Brown succeeds Sally Nelson\, who announced her retirement after serving for five years.  \n\n	 \n\n	Huntsville\, this is your opportunity to meet Mr. Brown\, hear his plans and goals for the hospital and update us on health care issues as they regard to individuals and our community as a whole.  Open to the citizens of Huntsville\, you do not have to be a chamber member to attend.\n\n	 \n\n	"Shannon is an outstanding executive to lead Huntsville Memorial Hospital at this transformative time in our history\," said Huntsville Memorial Hospital Board Chairman\, Dr. David Prier.  This is an excellent opportunity for the citizens of Huntsville to meet Mr. Brown and ask questions so that they may be better informed on the issues concerning our hospital and how to better prepare for health care issues/costs during the year. Due to limited seating payment is due at registration no later than Tuesday\, April 2.
