DESCRIPTION:Please join Huntsville Memorial Hospital at their Grand Opening of the Huntsville Women's Center located at 123 Medical Park Lane\, Suite B.  Refreshments\, facility tours and door prizes will be a part of the event. \n\n\n\nThe Huntsville Women's Center is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for women in our area to receive women's health services\, including mammograms\, ultrasound\, and Dexa scans.  One of the most exciting things for women in our community is that we are now offering 3-D/TOMO mammograms\, which provides a more accurate picture of a woman's breast health than traditional mammograms.  While traditional mammography takes images of the breasts from two angles\, the 3-D scanner moves in an arc over the breasts\, taking images from various angles.  This improves a physician's ability to spot small tumors and reduce false scares.  According to the American Cancer Society\, women over the age of 40 should receive a yearly screening mammogram and conduct monthly self-exams in between.
