SUMMARY:Duck Commander Comes to Huntsville!
DESCRIPTION:DUCK COMMANDER COMES TO HUNTSVILLE!\n\n	\n\n \n\n	We are excited to announce that on Tuesday\, September 3 the chamber will host a luncheon and feature guest speaker Grant Taylor from Duck Commander. Duck Commander is both the name of a best-selling duck call and the name of the West Monroe\, Louisiana based company which produces them and other duck hunting related merchandise as well as deer hunting merchandise under the Buck Commander name. The company was founded by Phil Robertson. Robertson's third son\, Willie\, who is now the CEO of the company\, expanded the family business into a multi-million dollar enterprise\, and now is the subject of an A&E television show called Duck Dynasty.\n\n \n\n	Grant was born and raised in Huntsville\, his parents are Mark and Delanise Taylor. Grant recently married into the Robertson family and is now working for Buck Commander. Grant will share stories about the Duck Commander family as well as give us an insight on the daily happenings with the business. "We've had some great experiences and growing pains that many business owners/managers can relate to." \n\n	\n\n	Here is an idea of what Grant will discuss at the luncheon:\n\n	\n Introduction into what his role and involvement is with Buck Commander and Duck Commander on a daily basis and how he got there\n	\n Discuss his relationships with members of the Robertson family and the dynamics associated with each\n	\n In a little more depth will discuss the growth of the business over the last 18 months and the inherent challenges associated with it\; the changes in process\, mentality and management of people\, particularly relative to family business. \n	\n Provide insight into his interaction with Willie on a daily basis from a personal and business perspective and the dynamics associated with his management style\n	\n Overall discuss how Faith is the greatest part of working at Buck/Duck Commander and how it's woven into the fabric of the company. \n	\n Give analysis as to why he thinks Duck Dynasty has been a hit and what drives the success of the show\n	\n Ultimately what he hopes to provide is some behind the scenes insight into Duck Commander and the Robertson family and what happens on a daily basis around our business. \n\n\n	The luncheon will be held on Tuesday\, September 3 at the Huntsville Church of Christ located at 3737 Hwy 30 West beginning at 11:30. Tickets are only $15 and include lunch provided by Farmhouse Caf . RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED BY FRIDAY AUGUST 30...call 936-295-8113 for info!
