Congressman Morgan Luttrell will be the guest speaker on August 11\, 2025\, from 10:30a.m. to 11:30a.m.\, at a meeting hosted by the Walker County Republican Women?s club. \nCongressman Luttrell will give a congressional update on pending legislation as well as recently passed bills. \nCongressman Luttrell was first elected in 2022\, taking office in January 2023 and is currently serving his second term\, representing Texas? 8th Congressional District\, which includes a portion of Walker County. \nThe community is invited to attend\, with the meeting beginning at 10:30a.m. Lunch will not be served\, but attendees wishing to have lunch at the meeting are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Water and iced tea will be available. The event will be held at the Katy and E. Don Walker Education Center\, Gibbs Hall\, located at 1402 19th Street\, Huntsville Texas 77340.
