DESCRIPTION:Support the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County youth programs while helping preserve the future of our planet by purchasing durable\, sustainable Tupperware that last a lifetime. With a Tupperware Fundraiser\, November 4th-29th\, 2011\, 40% of your purchase will be donated back to the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County. That's $10 for every $25 you spend. The holidays are right around the corner and a perfect time to shop.\n\n\n\nThe funds raised will support the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County new program called the Backpack Buddy Club.\n\n\n\nA child's nutrition and education are a priority at Boys & Girls Club. Since food and nutrition are so closely linked with the ability to learn\, we want to make sure students have nutritious meals over the weekend so they are ready to learn when they arrive at school on Monday.\n\n\n\nEach Friday afternoon Backpack Buddy Club will provide Club members with food items for the weekend. These food items will be sent home at the end of the day in a bag that we will provide. There is no cost for the participant's family for the food. Boys & Girls Club of Walker County will have 50 food backpacks to distribute each Friday. The Club serves 250-275 youth per day.
