DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to attend a Candidate Meet and Greet for candidates running on the November 4\, 2025\, General Election ballot. The event will be held Tuesday October 14\, 2025\, at the Texas Prison Museum\, located at 491 State Highway 75N\, Huntsville Texas. Doors open at 5:30p.m. Invited to speak are the candidates for Huntsville Mayor and City Council Ward positions and Huntsville ISD School Board Trustees. After candidate introductions and brief comments on their campaign message\, attendees will be able to visit individually with candidates. This Meet and Greet gives Walker County and Huntsville residents an opportunity to meet candidates before early voting begins on October 20. The event is co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Walker County (RPWC) and the Walker County Republican Women (WCRW). These organizations have hosted these meetings in the past to enable voters an opportunity to meet people who will make future local decisions.
