\nFrom Houston: Travel I45 North\, take exit 116 (Hwy 30/11th Street)\,
\nturn right and travel east to the downtown square which is 2 miles from I45.
From Dallas: \;Travel I45 South\, take exit 116 (Hwy 30/11th Street)\,
\nturn left and travel east to the downtown square which is 2 miles from I45.
From Bryan/College Station: \;Travel Hwy 30 to the downtown square\, which is 2 miles from I45.
\n\nFrom Livingston\, Travel Hwy 190 to the downtown square. \;
\n\nFREE PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE is available\, Saturday only\, on the Sam Houston State University Campus in the Bower Stadium Parking Lot P14. \;
\nDIRECTIONS: \;From Sam Houston Avenue\, turn on Bearkat Blvd and head east and follow to the stadium \;Look for signs and tent\, parking lot is on the scoreboard side. \;The shuttle will run from 8:30 a.m to 6 p.m. SATURDAY ONLY. \;Provided by The Forum and Encore of Sam Houston. \; \; \;

\nSaturday...October 4th....Looking for a place to take the whole family for fun\, food and adventure? \; If so then we have the perfect solution&hellip\;the 40thAnnual Fair on the Square! \; Grab the kids and head to the historic downtown square right in the center of Huntsville. \; AND be sure to attend the Pre-Fair on the Square Concert on Friday\, October 3rd from 8 to midnight. \; Jerry Diaz and Hanna'\;s Reef will be playing a mix of Texas Beach Music and country! \; Admission is only $5 and tickets will be on sale at the gate.

\nThe Fair on the Square reminds many Huntsville residents that autumn is here! \; \; Shoppers will find many items to get them ready for both the fall and Christmas holidays. \; Jewelry\, apparel\, home dé\;cor and many more treasures will be showcased both by vendors and the merchants on the downtown square and Midway Plaza. \;

\nRemember entrance to the Fair on the Square is absolutely Free as are many attractions throughout the fair! \; The popular Kids Korner is a haven of fun for children of all ages! \; The Kids Korner is located in Rather Park but also spills over to the Legacy Martial Arts parking lot with a rock wall\, train\, balloon artist \; and \;more! \; The attractions in Rather Park include some old favorites\, the petting zoo\, bungee run\, slide\, \;and free arts and crafts and building projects \; provided by the Boys and Girls Club and Home Depot! \; And of course many &ldquo\;youngsters&rdquo\; will show us their talents on the entertainment stage!

\nIf you get tired of shopping and want to take a break be sure to head to the food court to taste many of the fair specialties. \; \; \; Homemade root beer floats and freshly squeezed lemonade will quench your thirst while you munch on fried pickles\, kettle korn\, barbecue and more! \; \;

\nFrom 11:00 &ndash\; 5:00 p.m. you \;can listen to the tunes of two local bands as the play on the stage in the Beer Garden. \; \;Enjoy an adult \;beverage or sip on a coca-cola as you waste \;away the afternoon \;enjoying \;some great Texas Country Music!

\nFree Shuttle and parking are \;available on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. \; Park \;in the \;SHSU Bowers Stadium \;Parking \;Lot P14 and the Forum and Encore of Sam Houston will shuttle you to and from the fair at no charge!
