Gates will open at 8:00 p.m. and will be held in the beer garden tent located at the corner of 14th and University Avenue. Rosenwall be the featured band beginning at 10:00 p.m. with Aubrie Lynn opening at 8:30. \n\n Saturday...October 5th....Looking for a place to take the whole family for fun\, food and adventure? If so then we have the perfect solution the 39thAnnual Fair on the Square! Grab the kids and head to the historic downtown square right in the center of Huntsville. \n\n \n\n The Fair on the Square reminds many Huntsville residents that autumn is here! Shoppers will find many items to get them ready for both the fall and Christmas holidays. Jewelry\, apparel\, home d cor and many more treasures will be showcased both by vendors and the merchants on the downtown square and Midway Plaza. \n\n \n\n Remember entrance to the Fair on the Square is absolutely Free as are many attractions throughout the fair! The popular Kids Korner is a haven of fun for children of all ages! The Kids Korner is located in Rather Park but also spills over to the Legacy Martial Arts parking lot with a rock wall\, train\, balloon artist and new this year a shaved ice vendor and water attraction! The attractions in Rather Park include some old favorites\, the petting zoo\, bungee run\, slide\, and free arts and crafts and building projects provided by the Boys and Girls Club and Home Depot! And of course many "youngsters" will show us their talents on the entertainment stage!\n\n \n\n If you get tired of shopping and want to take a break be sure to head to the food court to taste many of the fair specialties. Homemade root beer floats and freshly squeezed lemonade will quench your thirst while you munch on fried pickles\, kettle korn\, barbecue and more! A couple of new vendors will be there as well!\n\n \n\n From 11:00 5:00 p.m. you can listen to the tunes of two local bands\, Raisin Cain and Singlewide\, as the play on the stage in the Beer Garden. Enjoy an adult beverage or sip on a coca-cola as you waste away the afternoon enjoying some great Texas Country Music!\n\n \n\n Free Shuttle and parking are available on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Park in the SHSU Bowers Stadium Parking Lot P14 and the Forum and Encore of Sam Houston will shuttle you to and from the fair at no charge!\n\n \n\n The Fair on the Square offers something for every age and gender!
