"Grand Canyon Photographs" is an exhibit featuring photographs of the canyon and surrounding areas taken by American photographer Mark Burns between 2011 and 2018. The project was conceived by Mark Burns to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Grand Canyon National Park in 1919. The exhibit celebrates the visual image and role the Grand Canyon National Park has played in the history and creation of our national parks. The exhibit will be on display at the Sam Houston Memorial Museum's exhibit gallery in the Katy & E. Don Walker, Sr. Education Center located at 1402 19th Street. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4:30 p.m.
