A FREE TREE give-away will be sponsored by the Walker County Master Gardeners and the Texas Forestry Association at the Walker County Extension Office. Varieties to be given away are Pecan, Bald Cypress, Shumard Oak, Cherrybark Oak and Nuttall Oak. Varieties may be limited or changed. All donations from our FREE TREE give away will go toward the Sandy Tykol Scholarship Fund to benefit our high school seniors pursuing an agriculture degree.
